Mango Chicken Taco
This is an easy recipe for a build your own taco meal.
12 6-inch tortilla, flour or corn
1 rotisserie chicken, or chicken prepared any desired way (shredded)
Queso Fresco or cotija, crumbed
Black bean hummus
Mango salsa. If hard to find, make your own. Simple way is to buy a chunky fresh salsa and add diced fresh mango.
Lettuce of choice, shredded (iceberg, romaine, green leaf, spring mix)
Marie Sharp’s Pure Mango Habanero Pepper Sauce
Ready to assemble in layers:
On one tortilla, spread 1-2 tablespoons black bean hummus in a line, through the middle of the tortilla.
Add the desired amount of lettuce.
Add shredded chicken.
Add 1-2 tablespoons mango salsa.
Add 1-4 drops of Marie Sharp’s Hot Pure Mango Habanero Pepper Sauce, for just the perfect amount of heat and flavor.
Top with crumbles of Queso Fresco or cheese of choice.
