Marie's original recipes started with fresh carrot. One day, the Citrus Company of Belize approached Ms. Marie and asked her if she could use their waste product from citrus juice production, the pulp. Marie set out to up cycle this nutritious waste product and turn it into a delicious sauce. This is the culmination of her efforts, which also led Marie to explore other exotic ingredients, such as Nopal and Moringa.
Marie's sauces are revered for their balanced, clean habanero fruit bouquet, gorgeous velvety texture, and exquisite taste.
This Orange Pulp recipe is a bright, citrus forward sauce that incorporates especially well with seafood and sushi. Particularly handy to liven up your Margarita, Michelada or your Sangrita!
Marie Sharp's sauces are called "Pepper Sauces" revealing the focus on the fruit versus vinegar. They are non-fermented: lacking the astringency and acidity typically found in common vinegar-based hot sauces.
