Impress your guests with Marie Sharp's versatile, exotic sauce full of Tropical aromatics and rich smoky hot, umami flavor.
This Smoky & Spicy recipe is perfectly balanced:
There are traditionally five known fundamental tastes in the human palate: salty, sweet, sour, bitter, and umami. Umami is the proteiny, full-bodied taste of aged cheese, soy sauce, or cooked tomato. “Umami adds body.”
Belizean Barbacoa hits all the buttons!
Hand-picked fresh green Haden mangoes, cane sugar, natural vinegar, fresh pureed tamarind, Worcestershire sauce, hand chopped white onion, smoked habanero peppers, raisins, fresh ginger, sea salt, fresh garlic, spices.
This sauce is delicious! We use it on chicken when we grill and as a dipping sauce. This will be a staple in our fridge.
Love it as a dipping sauce too! It is very versatile! Thank you Megan!
Love this stuff!
I am a Barbacoa junkie. I mix it with Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing and it makes a yummy sauce to dip. It’s great on any fish or meat.

They have a flavor for everyhting. Haven't found one I don't like yet. 5/5
Your hamburgers will never be boring again!
This is my go-to sauce for hamburgers. I pour on a generous amount so it's dripping on the plate. The smoked habanero peppers give it a very tasty kick and the other ingredients make up the complex barbacoa flavor.... it's hard to describe but you will like it. Just don't skimp on the amount, it's not overly hot so the more the better!
BBQ Sauce Review
Tried the new BBQ Sauce, hot and the mild. Both were outstanding! My problem is deciding which Marie Sharp's sauce to use with a meal-I think I have them all!
