Marie Sharp's heirloom habanero's have been stunning culinary aficionados, like yourself, since 1981. It takes approximately eight years to produce a new pepper cultivar. Marie has spent this time creating her hottest pepper, to date. A little less than a year ago after seven generations of planting, she announced to us personally, "I have a new sauce, from my new pepper, and it packs a sting boy!" The rest, as they say, is history, and the Red Hornet has landed.
You have all shown a high demand for a hotter sauce, and after 8 years of research and development to create this pepper and sauce, it is here. It is a first batch, limited release, bespoke sauce that has earned it's price point. We have already had extreme success with the sauce and the feedback has been incredible. We hope to continue building Marie's line of sauces with more exciting releases in the future.
